Iran toon lets out poster for Cannes

Iran animation ‘Amin and Akvan’ at 2018 Cannes Film Market has released new poster. 

‘Amin and Akvan’ has gone on sale at 2018 Cannes Film Market, a local media report said, adding a poster is out concurrent with the piece presence at the prestigious French event.

Directed and penned by Zohal Razavi, the animation enjoys a 76-min cinematic version with 15 mini-episodes for the small screen.

Razavi was quoted by media as saying the animation ‘Amin and Akvan’ is "inspired by the stories I read in my childhood story books." 

 

The toon synopsis partly says, "Two skilled young men, Amin and Akvan, travel on water to a remote city with good job opportunities. The two aim to live a new life."

The Cannes Film Market is the business counterpart of the Cannes Film Festival and one of the largest film markets in the world.

Established in 1959, the Market is held annually in conjunction with the festival in Cannes, France.

The 2018 French film market has been held from May 8-17, 2018.
